Friends, we have before us another week where most of the astrological action is in the beginning of the week. Venus square Jupiter is still strong but fading. Joy, fun, romance, opportunities but avoid over spending, over indulging, be optimistic but not so much so that you set yourself up for a lesson from Saturn, getting stronger all this week and next.

Monday May 10 Mercury sextile Chiron might mean a little more good news about the pandemic. But Chiron is often an indicator of crisis, so the news may not be entirely good. In our personal lives we can…

Friends, we have before us a week that begins with a flurry of aspects but then quiets down. Plenty of opportunities for progress but caution remains a priority, especially with Saturn slowing down to stationary retrograde.

Very early this morning Mercury trine Pluto was exact making today and the beginning of this week a good time for writing, research, deep conversations, reading that can help you improve your life, also good for repairs, reforms, and catharsis. Writers and other artists can find a productive balance between editing and creating, but there are cross currents that will be exact Monday, so…

Friends, we have before us a roller coaster of a week, astrologically speaking. Last night’s Venus square Saturn remains strong for most of the week. Avoid pessimism in art and romance, or perhaps this is the opportunity to work hard and capture the sharp edges of reality in your creativity. A good time for editing artistic work, for practice, mentorship, learning, simplification, or taking a break to refresh your perspective. In relationships respect boundaries, demonstrate loyalty. Meditation can help you understand how to transform weaknesses into strengths.

Early this morning Mercury square Saturn was exact, usually indicating depression, criticism, ideas…

Friends, we have before us the most difficult part of April, astrologically speaking. But it is nowhere near as challenging as the aspects we went through last year and the beginning of this year. However many of us are sensitive to setbacks and pessimism after such a long series of challenges. Opportunities for joy are here, too, if we can find the balance between acknowledging and adapting to threats while recognizing and appreciating the simple pleasures and beauties around us.

Yesterday’s Mars and Mercury trine Jupiter, Mercury sextile Mars, Mercury square Pluto and Mars inconjunct Pluto are still strong, and…

Friends, we have before us a busy week of intense astrology as the challenging last half of April arrives. Good aspects mixed with bad could be a roller coaster for the more sensitive among us.

Last Friday’s Mars square Neptune is with us until April 19 but fading slowly. Unfortunately, this aspect could indicate a surge in the pandemic. If you feel guilty for being too lazy don’t over do to compensate. Balance is key and Mars and Neptune are not easy to balance. Mars is directed and always in motion. Neptune dissolves space and time. The pent up energy…

Friends, we have before us a dark of the moon with rather volatile aspects, but some harmonious aspects, too, which can help us enjoy this week if we can tune into them. The latter two weeks of April, with Pluto stationary retrograde April 27 could be challenging. Build up your strength. Get those repairs and reforms in motion to avoid bigger problems down the line. Pay attention to what really matters to you.

Tuesday April 6 Venus sextile Mars is exact indicating a harmonious moment between the genders. Spring’s air of attraction is strong. Creative energy is better put to…

Walking in a zen garden is like waking up in a dream, or hallucinating perfection. By contemplating each plant, and helping it realize the best possible use of light, space, and time in relation to all the other denizens of the garden, awareness of the Buddha world is achieved, because this world is the Buddha world. Most of us don’t see it because we are entangled in illusions. This week gives each of us an opportunity to cultivate the zen garden that is daily life. …

Friends, we have before us a week of mostly positive aspects. March has been rather quiet astrologically speaking. April will be more challenging, so relax and soak in all the rebirth messages Spring offers. This morning Venus entered Aries. For Librans and Taureans it’s a rebirth all your own as your ruling planet begins a new cycle around the zodiac. Aries, welcome the love, beauty and harmony of your native season.

This afternoon Mercury sextile Uranus is exact, making this a great time for writing, communicating, editing, finding more freedom thanks to new tech. Identify areas of your life that…

Friends, we have before us a week of positive aspects. Welcome to Daylight Savings Time, we are now only six days away from the start of Spring. The last three weeks of astrological aspects were very quiet, although Saturn square Uranus continues to indicate challenges and struggles over the long term as this aspect is with us most of 2021. If we get stuck on that tension between past and future we can miss the positive aspects this week. Realize that these issues will require time to sort out and get skilled at finding moments that refresh you.

Saturday’s Venus…

Friends, we have before us a quiet week of few astrological aspects, dominated by Neptune. The exact aspects this week, including the lunar, are positive, which is quite rare. The only problem is our continuing Saturn square Uranus which could easily brush aside all the good aspects and may cause some form of crisis, conflict, malaise or confrontation. It’s old versus new, tradition versus innovation, the old fashioned responsible way versus technology and the new way of doing things. The past struggles to keep control over the future. Modernization will be the result. …
