Friends, Saturn dominates the beginning of this week with Friday’s Venus inconjunct Saturn still in effect, and Mercury and sun oppositions to Saturn today. The middle of the week is relatively quiet, astrologically speaking. We continue summer’s celestial roller coaster of challenging aspects balanced by the supportive.

Today Aug 1 sun conjunct Mercury was exact. With this and strong Saturn for writers and creative people this is a good weekend for editing, learning, practicing, consulting with mentors. Communications can contain a little more ego than usual.

Also today mid-morning Venus inconjunct Chiron was exact. Chiron and inconjunctions in general both…

Friends, we have before us a week that is mostly rather sassy but probably not in a positive way, and it ends with a potential thud. After that we finally get a bit of a break from the recent celestial difficulties. Mars inconjunct Pluto continues to indicate conflict and danger until August 1. This aspect suggests problems around health issues, that can be caused by reckless actions. Hostility can lead more easily to violence with this aspect, and as pointed out in last week’s report, if a more dangerous mutation of the pandemic virus appears it’s possible researchers will find…

Friends, we have a rather challenging week ahead of us. This weekend’s unusual concentration of inconjunctions could indicate a considerable worsening of the pandemic just ahead. Mars inconjunct Pluto this Thursday is especially concerning and will be with us until August 7. These aspects are exasperated by the continuing strength of Saturn square Uranus.

Yesterday’s sun opposition Pluto remains strong and lingers through the middle of the week. This aspect can indicate a crisis of healing, and its presence with all these inconjunctions is worrisome. Pluto can indicate mutations and destruction. At the very least we’re likely to see another…

Friends, we have before us a week that brings issues around health and well being to the forefront. With twelve inconjunctions (including lunar) we may be struggling with the feeling that different areas of our lives are demanding attention in ways that leave us feeling confused and frustrated. It’s difficult to smoothly adjust so that both sides get what they need. The stress this causes, and the resulting bad habits that exasperate unhealthy imbalances, could create some sort of crisis this week. This may be an important week where the pandemic is concerned. The dice are still rolling as to…

Friends, we have before us a roller coaster of a week of both challenging and positive aspects. That is the theme of this summer for most part, along with the aspect that dominates this year, Saturn square Uranus. While compared to last year this year is considerably less dire astrologically speaking this is nevertheless a formidable square that brings about massive changes. It can be seen as a clear mark between the overhanging 20th century culture and way of doing things and what will become the 21st century approach, involving transformations caused by technology.

With all the inconjunctions this summer…

Friends, we have before us a rather challenging week of aspects, but with Saturn having left the degree of its station and Pluto about to follow, there may nevertheless be some sense of relief. However this week and the next two have enough squares and inconjunctions to warrant care especially in matters related to well-being. Not a good time for skipping meals, not getting enough rest, over-exerting, or over-indulging. If you’ve been running on adrenaline for over a year this would be a good time to address that by strengthening your foundations in every way you can. …

Friends we have before us an interesting week, astrologically speaking. Jupiter and Neptune are stationary retrograde, Mercury retrograde ends, and Venus goes through some uncomfortable aspects. Still it’s a lighter menu than we’ve seen for some time. Mystical experiences, extreme relaxation, spiritual epiphanies, feelings of relief, and joyful times beside bodies of water are all possible. So is extreme intoxication, optimistic self-delusion, and wasting resources on passing fascinations.

Jupiter stationary retrograde this morning can help us gain a sense of optimism or at least can inspire us to have a good time. Opportunities may show themselves, but take care as…

Friends, we have before us a pivotal week as summer is about to return. Yesterday’s Venus square Chiron and Venus sextile Uranus are with us through most of this week. The first suggests a crisis in romance, creativity, or finances, but the knowledge gained helps us make the changes that can heal the problem before it causes more trouble. The second inclines us to the new, the surprising, the futuristic. A passionate desire to break out of the routine can help us find greater freedom.

Very early this Sunday morning Venus inconjunct Saturn was exact. This is a challenging aspect…

Friends, we have before us a week of three squares, one of them the dominant theme of this year: Saturn square Uranus. That means we’ll be facing some challenges this week, especially since Saturn and Pluto still occupy the degrees they stationed in not so long ago. This will continue through June 18 for Saturn and June 29 for Pluto. That feeling of no progress, of backsliding, of overwhelming force of events, and fear of loss that the Saturn Pluto conjunction in January 2020 intensified returns to for pop quiz. Did we learn our lessons? …

Friends, we have before us a week of mixed aspects, while harmonious aspects are with us during the weekdays, difficult Pluto aspects make the weekends more challenging. We also have the dark of the moon arriving mid week. Mercury retrograde began yesterday and will be with us until June 22. And Saturn continues its long station at 13 Aquarius (until Jun 18) and Pluto continues its long station at 26 Capricorn (until June 29). This Pluto station makes the difficult Pluto aspects this week more powerful.

This morning Venus inconjunct Pluto was exact. On the one hand Venus in Gemini…
