Welcome to Pluto in Aquarius. Notice anything weird yet? We have a quiet week ahead of us in that there are few aspects. Mars entered Cancer early Saturday morning, the ideal placement for spring cleaning. About two hours later Mars inconjunct Pluto was exact and remains the dominant aspect of the next week or two. Continuing problems in the bank sector are probable. War intensifies, in Ukraine and in American politics. Mars represents ambition, libido, anger. Pluto indicates reform, repair, healing but also destructiveness, criminality, obsession, and suspicion.

The Pluto Mars inconjunction is an irritating aspect that resists balance. The temptation is to emphasize one area of life, until the suppressed side erupts. With this aspect there’s a need for constant adjustments. There may be feelings of urgency, but patience is the only way when dealing with Pluto. Of course, Mars isn’t comfortable with that.

Sunday March 26 Mercury conjunct Chiron is exact just before noon. This can indicate news about collective health crisis, conjunct Jupiter we would hope the news is good. With Mercury conjunct Jupiter we’re really going to want to socialize. With Mars inconjunct Pluto risk avoidance is still advisable. Also a good aspect for researching healing, for heeding messages from the body, and making those necessary adjustments that can improve well being or prevent harm.

Monday March 27 Mercury conjunct Jupiter just before noon can be fun, lucky and joyful but we must avoid the urge to spend, indulge or even hope too much or we might find ourselves on the wrong side of Mars inconjunct Pluto. A conversation or other encounter with inspiring information might bring awareness of opportunities that could have been overlooked in the atmosphere of prevailing challenges. Take Dante’s advice: “Follow your own star.”

Tuesday March 28 and Wed March 29 only lunar aspects are exact. As Aldous Huxley wrote: “There is only one corner of the universe you can be certain of improving, and that’s your own self.”

Thu March 30 Mars trine Saturn is exact just after noon. Venus conjunct Uranus is exact mid-afternoon. The trine helps us take a practical approach to Mars inconjunct Pluto. Saturn gives Mars awareness of limits. A good aspect for getting organized, for planning long range, and doing solo work. Putting energy into good habits can be a little easier with this aspect.

Fri March 31, Sat April 1 and Sun April 2 only lunar aspects are exact. As Mark Twain said of April Fool’s Day: “This is the day upon which we are reminded of what we are on the other three hundred and sixty-four.” Is it any wonder that April 1 was once sacred to Aphrodite?

Mercury enters Taurus with an exact square to Pluto on Monday April 3, we’ll likely be hearing more from the financial sector. There may be a tendency to apprehension, suspicion, manipulation, with this aspect but it’s good for serious editing, deep research, especially about healing, meditation, regeneration, reorganization and an, understanding of how we can serve a greater good. As Walt Whitman wrote: “I am the mate and companion of people, all just as immortal and fathomless as myself.”
