Marriage in the New World Order

To commemorate the first Valentine’s Day of Pluto in Aquarius I’ve posted another recording of a lecture from my days with Manly Palmer Hall.

In 1984 at the Philosophical Research Society in Los Feliz, CA on a Sunday morning at 11 AM about 200 people, who had each paid a dollar, had the jarring experience of watching me walk out to the mic. They were expecting Manly Hall. As his substitute lecturer I had to be ready to show up whenever he didn’t feel up to it.

Manly Hall chose the title: Marriage in the New World Order. Titles were picked well in advance, for announcements of the upcoming schedule in the monthly bulletin. I asked him what he meant by new world order. We talked about the alchemical marriage as a symbol of awakened harmony between body and soul. When that happens the world is reconfigured for ourselves and others. When I worried about the sinister connotations of that phrase new world order we talked about the Rosicrucian ideal of Universal Reformation. That it can never be forced from above. Each of us must find it within ourselves.
