Friends, it grieves me to tell you that the love and light of my life is no longer incarnate. If you have access to Facebook you will find on her profile a cascade of moving and inspiring testimonials to this beautiful soul and wonderful woman it was my privilege to enjoy life with every day for 46 years. Proof that no matter how toxic the social media platform the quality of who and how we use them determines our experience of them.
Monday 7/28 Venus sextile Chiron is exact in the late morning, indicating an opportunity for healing through love, art, beauty and harmony. Spend some time on the weekend of 7/26 and 7/27 cherishing your loved ones, and finding inspiration by creating or enjoying the wonders of nature and artistry. Chiron can indicate healing through crisis, especially with Chiron stationary retrograde this week. Don’t get put off by conflict or struggles in relationships or your crafts, improve them by understanding where adjustments can be made to bring a greater harmony to your life and the lives of others.

Wed 7/30 Chiron will be stationary retrograde in the morning. Then Venus enters sentimental family and home oriented Cancer at 8:55 AM. Venus is in its detriment in Cancer and is best expressed through care for loved ones. Bring greater harmony to your home. Beautify decor. Some may find that romantic and creative activities are limited by domestic responsibilities. Go with the flow. Venus will be in Cancer until 8/25. Taurus and Libra natives may find they have less energy. Family and dear friends may provide support and uplift.
Thu 7/31 sun conjunct Mercury retrograde is exact in the late afternoon. Mercury will be stationary direct 8/11 so hang in there. Things may not go as planned. Enjoy the detours and delays. Fri 8/1 Venus square Saturn is exact in the morning, Venus square Neptune is exact in the afternoon, and Venus inconjunct Pluto is exact in the late evening making this a challenging week for relationships. With Saturn conjunct Neptune, Venus becomes the prism through which we experience what Saturn and Neptune are trying to teach us. It’s not a good weekend for romance or art unless we can find a balance between our responsibilities, our spirituality, and the necessary transformations Pluto indicates.
All too often in this world we lose ourselves in ambitions, missions, illusions and obsessions. We can lose sight of who and what really matters to us in life. Most men and many women have been taught that success is everything and only when it is too late do they discover the terrible regrets of neglecting the simple joys of love and nature. Believe me, in the throes of mourning, our accomplishments pale before the shining glory of those precious moments spent with who and what we cherish. Make time to show appreciation and to share experiences and don’t be misled by competition and envy. In this world of impermanence we are taught what really matters: love.
Sat 8/2 Mars inconjunct Chiron is exact in the very early morning indicating collective crisis in the areas of male toxicity, ambition, aggression, and use of force to attain questionable goals. Frustrated competitive drive, violated boundaries, and neglected libido can trigger unnecessary conflict and even violence. In our own lives this is a time for prioritizing health and healing and finding ways to integrate those natural human drives in ways that support community rather than destroy it. With Venus inconjunct Pluto and Mars inconjunct Chiron conflict between genders is more likely. Resist the urge to have it your way no matter the cost. Giving in to these dysfunctions can result in illness so pay attention to how Mars is working or not working in your life and make adjustments.
